My Retirement Activities
Since retiring in 1991 at age 47, I've tried to keep my mind occupied and my health good by engaging periodically in several hobbies... the most pleasure I gain, however, is from my wife and family and from traveling.

Retirement Activities & Interests
RETIRED in 1991 at age 47.
INTERESTS include:
Family Time: My wife Liz and I go out to eat two or three times a week for ethnic food (Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Greek, Indian, Mediterranean, Turkish, Carribean, African, Chinese, Korean, Mexican, and more). We find that time together keeps us grounded and our marriage and friendship healthy. We talk about our kids, her job (she’s a senior manager with a well-known software company), our travel plans, and whatever else comes up. I also have lunch once a week with my daughter Lianne, who lives in Reno. We have a great friendship and enjoy discussing a wide variety of subjects. Whenever we can, we visit with our daughter Kelly, who lives about two hours away in California on the other side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. We also spend time with our grandkids when we can and frequently take them to some special locale (Disneyland, Disney World, etc.)… or just to our house for the weekend.
