Additional MGB Projects
My next steps for these cars are to finish the in-process re-wiring and interior panel installation, then to get back to driving it for several months... before undertaking suspension work and rubber bumper painting...
The NEXT Steps I’m Doing…
-
Finishing the rewiring of the fuse box to the interior
-
Finishing installing the interior panels which match the seat covers
-
Carving and finishing the rosewood door cappings
-
Installing the new CD / 80 gigabye USB stereo system
-
DRIVING the car for several months
-
Lowering the car 3" to bring it down to the height of the chrome bumper models
-
Replacing all suspension bushings with top-quality nylatron ones
-
Replacing the rubber rear spring bushings with brass racing sleeves
-
Painting my rubber bumpers to match the color of my car
