How to Feature Your Site on Our WebRings: 

 

Always appear at the top of the ring by featuring your site on our rings.  Use the following steps (NOTE: these must be repeated for EACH WebRing that you want your website featured):

  1. Click the link above to open the WebRing
  2. Sign in with your UserID and Password (save these in an easy-to-find text file and on "paper" backup)
  3. Find the "Manage" line and click on "Memberships" (a RED colored link)
  4. You will see all the WebRings you have joined (if you a member of a lot of them, you may need to click the "Sort By" buttom to get them in alphabetical sequence; Note that, in the unlikely event you are a member of more that 30 rings, there is a "Next" button for going from page to page on the "Memberships" colored band)
  5. Find our first WebRing that you want to be featured in
  6. It will be one of the ones that have the words  "feature here" as a RED-colored link - click on the "feature here" button for the first one of our sites you want to be featured on
  7. This will take you to a page for our WebRing that will have the title "Manage Site Promotional Settings" as a banner near the top - make sure you landed on the right page
  8. Check the box titled "YES! I would like the ring's manager to consider featuring this site"
  9. Enter an amount in the box entitled "I am willing to pay the following monthly amount if this site is featured:"
  10. You can calculate the amount based on how many hits you expect to get and how much revenue you expect to get from each hit; don't forget that WE, too, have to pay to be eligible to participate in the "Featuring" program, so BID ACCORDINGLY so that you will meet or exceed our minimum threashold.
  11. Make sure you have enough in your account to cover your bid - if you need to add money, click the "My Account" tab, then under the "Membership Status" bar, go to the item labeled "add credit" and click it, following instructions on the page which follows.
