My Collections
I'm a collector by nature. People often refer to my home office as a "museum" - here are examples of just some of the things I enjoy collecting.
I collect models having to do with transportation: diecast scale model Classic Cars (1890's-1970's mostly, but a handful of newer ones), pickups, trucks, car haulers, figurines, road signs, buildings, service stations, tools, and more. I also have a small collection of airplane scale models.
There are many Classic Car pictures & calendars, British transportation photographs (trains, planes, automobiles & ships), airplane pictures, automobilia, car license plates, gearshift knobs, window cranks, steering wheels, key fobs, dash instruments, and more.
Additionally, I collect the following: Antique cameras (1895-1950's and some through the 1970's), old radios (1930's), American Indian artifacts, miniature carved and cast animals, miniature lamps, pictures of barns, 50's & 60's memorabilia, carved ducks, unusual book ends, unusual picture frames, and more.
I also have an extensive library: Classic Cars, 1930's-1960's cars, astronomy, geology, anthropology, history, archeology, comparative religion, travel, behavioral typology & personality assessment, and other topics.
