My 1978 MGB High-Performance Engine:

78 Performance Rebuild
The engine on my 78 MGB was workable - after all, I drove it 2,500 miles cross-country in 100-degree-plus temperatures in 2004 . However, the combination of being embarrassed by driving up the steep mountain roads surrounding Reno, NV with a line a SUV's behind me waiting to pass and the fact thatI'd always wanted to do a high-performance rebuild on an engine led me to some unusual steps for this little British car.
