1950 Ford "Project" Car - Sold Late 2004
I bought this one in 1978 and had it restored over the next 14 months. Having moved from Dallas to the "Silicon Valley" area during the process, I picked it up in October of 1979 and drove it cross-country pulling a 24-foot travel trailer. With its high-torque engine, it often passed huge modern pickups pulling their RV's on uphill grades. Unfortunately, it was eventually left sitting outside and the interior & seals rotted away. The second restoration began in 2003 and it was then a " running project car. " After a while I decided I enjoyed driving more than working, so I sold this a short time later!
